about security

AmeriNet is committed to security both in terms of the physical security of data and information privacy. Every electronic transaction processed anywhere contains a bit of personal information that belongs to a real individual who has authorized someone to use for a very specific purpose. Most consumers paying their bills online or buying something from an Internet merchant will never know who AmeriNet is, yet the safety and confidentiality of their personal information is as important to AmeriNet as is to the individual who owns it.

Physical Security - AmeriNet's network operations center is housed in a Verizon Premuim Data Center facility designed specifically as a data center, protected by armed security guards and inaccessible by an unauthorized person.

Network Securty - Systems are protected by best-of-breed network security and carefully monitored for intrusion attempts and other threats. AmeriNet staff must use multiple-factor authentication to access data and even then, access is limited to only that data which is needed to conduct business. Data is sanitized or encrypted to remove unnecessry historical data.

AmeriNet keeps transaction data physically separated from other data such as accounting and client information. The company is 100% paperless eliminating any risk in that area.

As new technologies and best practices emerge, AmeriNet evaluates and adopts it as needed to stay on the leading edge of security and privacy.

As an added security measure, details of AmeriNet's security policy are available where prerequisite agreements are in place.
